Funding and fees

When moving into aged care, you can pay for services yourself or access government subsidies, depending on your financial situation.

The Australian Government decides how much subsidy you’re eligible for based on your income and assets. This can help cover some or all of the three main types of aged care fees.

Fees vary depending on the aged care home you choose – usually based on the location, room type, and level of care offered. To explore options and view room costs, including a subsidy calculator, visit our aged care communities webpage.
