Home care costs
What you’ll pay for home care depends on the services you’re approved for, and whether you’re accessing government funding or paying privately.

 Ways to access home care
If you're seeking government assistance for your home care, you'll need to apply for an in-person assessment with My Aged Care.
Or, contact us to organise private services.
Support at home (SaH)
Government funding for ongoing or short-term home care services you need to stay safe, well and independent at home for longer.
You won’t need to pay anything if you’ve been approved to receive Clinical Care.
For any Independence and Everyday Living services, you’ll contribute a percentage of the service cost, based on the income and assets assessment conducted by Services Australia.
Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
If you only require 1 or 2 basic services every now and then, the Commonwealth Home Support Program could be suitable for you.
CHSP services are only part-funded by the government. That’s why we ask you to pay a contribution towards each service that you use.
Private home care
You can pay privately (the full cost) for any Wesley Mission Queensland aged care service, without requiring government funding or an aged care assessment.
Call today on 1800 448 448 and ask about our fee-for-service options.
Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS)
This program provides support for people living with a disability or condition that impacts their ability to live independently and access the community, and who are not eligible for My Aged Care funding or the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme).
You can register for an assessment yourself via the QCSS Access Point.
