1300 MH CALL, a mental health access line for Queenslanders

24 hours a day, 7 days a week

1300 MH CALL (1300 642 255) is a confidential mental health telephone triage service to Queenslanders and your first point of contact for information, advice and referral. 1300 MH CALL will link you to the nearest Queensland Public Mental Health service.

This is not a crisis service

Call 000 (Triple Zero) if you are at immediate risk of harming yourself or others, or someone you know is. Hearing impaired callers dial 106 by TTY.

  • Police Link - QLD Assistance Line - 131 444 - for non-urgent police assistance.
  • 1800RESPECT - 1800 737 732 - Immediate support if you, or someone you know, is experiencing sexual assault or domestic and family violence
  • DVConnect - 1800 811 811 - For finding safe pathways, away from domestic and family violence. Crisis counselling, information and referrals.
  • Homeless Hotline - 1800 474 753 - Information and referral services if you are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 
  • Alcohol and Drug Support (ADIS) - 1800 177 833 - A safe, anonymous and confidential space to talk about your concerns, receive information and explore options. 
  • Gambling Helpline - 1800 858 858 - 24/7 telephone support for anyone affected by gambling.

Equally Well aims to improve the quality of life of people living with mental illness by providing equal access to quality health care. Wesley Mission QLD has pledged  support of the Equally Well Consensus Statement which outlines six essential elements that provide guidance to health service organisations.  By pledging to the principles of the Consensus Statement organisations will collectively bridge the life expectancy gap between people living with mental illness and the general population.
