Important update regarding Wesley Mission Queensland’s CEO
Wesley Mission Queensland today announced that Jude Emmer has made the decision to resign from her role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Jude has led the organisation through significant change and growth during her six-year tenure, including the development and rollout of the WMQ 2035 Strategy.
Board Chairperson Dr Daniel Pampuch thanked Jude for her leadership, commitment and contribution to Wesley Mission Queensland.
“Jude has been fundamental in laying the foundations for Wesley Mission Queensland to thrive into the future.
She has led the organisation with warmth, empathy and a deep commitment to our purpose, mission and values. Jude has been a passionate advocate for our customers and communities and equally for the people and teams who serve and support them every day."
Jude Emmer said it has been a privilege to lead an organisation who is united in its values and desire to serve those who need support and empower meaningful change. “During the past six years I’ve been inspired by the many stories of hope and transformation shared by our customers, made possible through the compassion, dedication and care provided by our staff.
Wesley Mission Queensland has an important purpose and a strong future, and I will be working closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team over the coming months to support a smooth transition.”
Jude will continue as CEO until 30 November 2026, while the interim and longer-term recruitment arrangements are made.
