Jude Emmer
Chief Executive Officer

Jude Emmer has an extensive career in the health and aged care sector, including nine years’ experience as a CEO in hospitals prior to joining Wesley Mission Queensland in 2020.
Jude began her career as a registered nurse and has more than 20 years’ experience in senior executive positions. She has worked in acute care, aged care, disability and mental health.
Jude grew up and trained in the UK, before moving to Australia in 1990. Her tertiary studies in management, leadership and bioethics have been completed in both Australia and the UK and she has held positions on industry peak bodies in both countries.
Jude plays an active role advocating for better outcomes for older Australians, people living with a disability and those experiencing homelessness and is currently the chair of the UnitingCare Australia National Aged Care Network.
Prior to taking on the role as CEO, Jude was the State Manager for St Vincent’s Care Services where her focus was to operationalise strategy and oversee high performance and compliance standards.
With a passion for providing outstanding care and outcomes and enhancing workplace culture, Jude is committed to Wesley Mission Queensland’s mission and values and is driven by a strong sense of social justice and compassion.
