Our support

We provide disability home support for personal care activities such as:

  • Showering
  • Dressing
  • Grooming
  • Personal hygiene tasks.

We also provide assistance with managing medications.

We can support you to develop ways of managing a whole range of complex day-to-day activities. NDIS Life skills support may include:

  • Cooking and meal preparation support including menu planning and preparation and assistance to build your capacity to cook independently
  • Support with shopping (online or in-store)
  • Assistance with budgeting
  • Planning and organizing appointments, transport and travel.

We can help you build skills related to maintaining a home. This may include building your capacity and skills in:

  • Keeping your home clean
  • Washing clothes
  • Booking maintenance and repairs.

 We also offer non face-to-face time to help you to manage all aspects of your life.

Whether it be accessing your gym, assisting with your exercise programs or attending health related appointments, our NDIS home support team are here to support you in your health and wellbeing goals. We work with you and in consultation with your health professionals to build your capacity to maintain a healthy lifestyle. 

We can assist with minor home modifications under the NDIS that help you to remain safe and independent in and around your home. 

Minor modifications include:

  • Fitting of grab rails to assist you with moving around your house, in and out of your shower or bath, and on and off the toilet
  • Fitting of hand rails on steps and staircases
  • Building and installing ramps to improve access around your home
  • Applying non-slip treatments and materials to floors
  • Installing hand held showers or easy turn taps to allow you to function independently
  • Reversing bathroom doors
  • Fitting of bed and chair raisers to enable you to get on and off furniture more easily.

If you are over the age of 18 and live in Brisbane North, you may be eligible under your NDIS plan to access our popular Community Assisted Transport Service (CATS), a door-to-door service for those who are unable to use alternative modes of transport for health or mobility reasons. 

We also offer transport services which you can pay privately for across Brisbane. Contact us to find out more.


Accessing home support

Our disability home care support services are available for people over the age of 18 years with an NDIS plan living in the Greater Brisbane region. Minor home modifications are also available in the Pine Rivers region.


If you live outside of Brisbane or do not have NDIS funding, you can pay privately for many of these services across South East Queensland. Find out more about fees and funding options for our disability home care services. You can also access some services with Queensland Community Support Scheme funding and an appropriate referral.
