Rev Bruce Moore is the Moderator of the Uniting Church Queensland Synod. He previously served as the Director of Mission as part of the Executive Team at UnitingCare Queensland.
He has diverse experience in ministry and mission roles, as well as in senior management positions within government, private business and the NFP sectors. Bruce is currently the Chair of the Global Leadership Network Australia & New Zealand Board, Chair of the Standing Committee of the Qld Synod and is serving as a member of UnitingCare Qld Board, Wesley Mission Qld Board and a member of other Governance Committees & Councils of the Uniting Church and other NFP organisations.
Bruce has worked professionally as a senior consultant in governance, leadership, team performance and cultural change. Prior to joining UnitingCare, Bruce was managing therapeutic residential care and foster care programs for another service provider. He has been involved in child protection reforms in Queensland and is a founding member of the National Therapeutic Residential Care Alliance.
Bruce holds a Bachelor of Theology with postgraduate study in Management, Leadership, Behavioural Science, Youth Work and Rural & Environmental Studies. Bruce is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Member of the International Association of Teamwork Facilitators.
