Meet Jacquie Rogers, resident of WesleyCare Wynnum Apartments, a specialist disability accommodation (SDA) located in Brisbane South.
Jacquie faced a stroke in 2015 and embarked on a journey to regain her independence. After undergoing intensive rehabilitation, Jacquie found herself drawn to WesleyCare Wynnum Apartments, a place that became her haven.
The unique aspect that caught her attention? The freedom to have her cat by her side — a small but significant joy, especially after having to part ways with her pets during hospital and nursing home stays.
With a buzzer system available 24/7, Jacquie appreciates the balance between doing things on her own and having assistance when needed.
