From 01 January 2023, Marcus Mission Program will transition from Wesley Mission Queensland but is continuing to operate in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg regions under the guidance of Marcus Mission co-founder, Jon Morgan.

WMQ is incredibly proud of our association with Marcus Mission, and our journey alongside the Roberts and Morgan families who helped found and develop the program in honour of their family member Marcus Roberts, who was lost to suicide.
From 2018 to 2022 the Marcus Mission Program benefited over 1000 men through resilience skills development and/or peer mentoring.
WMQ remains committed to addressing the critical issue of suicide in our communities through a range of innovative programs from community prevention through to aftercare and carer support across Southeast Queensland.
In their grief, Marcus’ family was determined to change the statistics around men dying by suicide. Marcus Mission helps other men, with the same care and kindness that Marcus showed to others.
