ANZAC Day comes early at Anam Cara aged care community

Veterans from Anam Cara aged care community chose to have their ANZAC service today so that some of their fellow servicemen could join.

Today we honoured Joyce Hampton, from the Land Army, Ken Fisher, from the Royal Australian Airforce, and Tony Curtis who was joined by his fellow mates who served with Tony at Long Tan in Vietnam.

We will remember them. Lest we forget.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
